Notes from The Rancho
Una Noche Orchard Blend Soap
Vanilla Black Currant with organic shea butter
THE SOAP
Have a hard time getting some slumber? Take in the cool night breeze every time you use the Una Noche blend, where soothing aromas meet earthy, creamy vanilla smells for a cozy, sleep promoting experience.
This soap doubles as a room freshener: These flavors are so intense, they will also fill any room they're in with the loveliest of aromas.
Expertly crafted using an ancestral cold-process method, this soap features a luxurious mix of saponified oils—including nourishing Olive Oil, ethically sourced Organic Palm Oil (Fair Trade, Sustainable-Palm Done Right), Organic Coconut Oil (Fair Trade), and Organic Shea Butter (Fair Trade)—that gently cleanse and deeply hydrate your skin.
AROMA
A rich, fruity, and slightly creamy aroma. The sweet black currant brings a deep, juicy, and slightly tart scent, reminiscent of ripe berries with a hint of earthiness. The vanilla softens the sharpness of the black currant, adding a warm, smooth, and slightly sweet undertone. Together, they create a fragrance that feels both fresh and cozy like a cool night's breeze in your family's homeland.
ORCHARD BLEND COLLECTION
Before commercial soap, families cherished their own soap blends made from tallow, lye, and botanicals sourced from their orchards and homesteads. Each unique recipe balanced science and art, with women adding rosemary, lavender, or orchard fruits mixed with coconut or olive oil to create signature fragrances that filled entire rooms.
With just under 10 ingredients, all naturally derived, this special soap is an heirloom blend just as they may have created.

We rise with the sun, collect fresh eggs from our chickens and harvest fresh citrus from the orchard, with the chirp of birds and the sounds of not too far-off horses and sometimes a lonely burro. Anywhere you walk, you're hit with the scent of citrus blossoms, lavender, eucalyptus trees, juicy tomato vines, and wild herbs, a constant reminder that abundance can mean many different things. Afternoons are spent under shady olive trees, sipping local wine, enjoying local beef with a local señora's handmade tortillas. Evenings are spent around a fire with family. Land is for indulging in the kind of slow, community-focused living that was common to many of your ancestors.
